I am not a fan of traditional studio portraits of children.
Nor are most children who've been asked to sit up straight
and smile in front of a white background.
My aim is to capture natural uncontrived expressions of
your child. In order to do this, I like to make the session
as relaxed and as much fun as possible.
Children are usually more at ease in a familiar environment
so I come to your house. I like to use natural light
whenever possible so, weather permitting, your garden or a
nearby park may be the best location.
I feel it is important to spend enough time with the
children for them to feel comfortable and unpressured.
A typical session takes about an hour and a half but can
vary from child to child.
